My 86 year old mother needs to get out of her house and get more active. Does anyone know of any clubs in Kingwood that offer outings for seniors?

JohnDSmith: there are activities at the Kingwood Community Center as well as our local YMCA. Some church may have activities, too.

My 88 year old mother just started playing Bingo every Monday and Bunko the first Thursday(I think) of the month at the Community Center. She is having a ball! She's met some nice people and has been asked to lunch. Hope your mom will give it a go. There is something for everyone!

In the last month, I saw seniors loading a bus at Strawbridge and another bus another day loading at Kingwood United Methodist for outings. Can she do steps on a bus?

Also, subscribe to Out on a Limb newsletter of the Kingwood library. They give info on senior day field trips.
