Register Here by 11 p.m. on June 4. *Qualifications (Non-Title I Schools) include high school diploma or GED, apply for or have an Educational Aide Certificate with SBEC, and CPI training (required) and certification maintained. Title I Schools: Must meet all the Non-Title I School requirements above plus pass the District’s locally approved academic assessment in reading, writing, and mathematics and have the ability to assist in instruction. KingwoodDotCom : If one of you needs a job and has a gift with children, think about becoming a paraeducator. These individuals are not only a great help to teachers, but make such a difference in the lives of special education students who need just a little more time or attention or support to accomplish things. My autistic grandson has made such progress due to the great "paras" who work with his teachers to be sure he is on task and redirected as needed.
