Do you all remember when there was a bar where The Tastes of Thai and Sushi is now,
It use to be a frozen yogurt place before that too. Chachis is where On The Park was originally and the import cheese shop was were the Granstand Hair cut place was. Now it Gnome Sweet Gnome and the phone repair place. Sanke Hair Salon was a children's books store before it was a dance studio. Too bad that did not make it, Blockbuster was the happening place on Fridays. Now can any one remember the restaurant that was in the Vision Source location next to KFC. I recall it being fancy nice and had a piano player, Also, in front of Riverwood there was just 2 lanes for the longest time., We think it is a mess now but back then there was no where for traffic to move. 3 Bs was a pasta restaurant. The apartments where HEB is now and the ducks that were always on KW Dr. The post office use to be a store front next to JChristophers where the nail salon is now. Sorry, I went down memory lane and tried typing without my readers😂

Smoothwaters : I remember most of what you said. I ate at the restaurant where vision place is. I remember it was really nice and it was a good meal.

Smoothwaters : Applebee's was next to KFC. They lost their liquor license because they were serving underage minors.

Smoothwaters : I loved that cheese shop!! They had the best. I shopped there a lot when they were here
Smoothwaters : I moved to Waco,TX. for four years but I remember some of the places you mentioned. We also used to go to Mountasia to play put-put golf, Bennigan's in Humble (where Brick House Tavern) is now. Gatti Town was a blast and poof, everything went away. I never understood why because those places were always busy. I miss these places. I used to shop at Steinmart, Bombay, eat at Ninfa's, etc. So much has changed and commercialized now. It's nice going back to remember though but I wish we had never lost some of the good ones.
CaffeineFree : Yes! Applebee's! I knew it was a chain but couldn't remember which chain.
Kittle : When we moved here, Applebee's, Ninfa's, and the Chinese and Mexican places near what's currently Aldi were the only full-service places to eat in KW unless we drove to Humble. Atascocita wasn't an option because WLHP ended in a T-intersection at KW drive, so no WLHP bridge yet.
CaffeineFree : I remember it being Applebee's from what others have said, but it was a fancy restaurant too. Do you remember that?
SummerSneeze : It must have been short-lived because I don't remember that. Applebee's is the only restaurant I recall being in that building. We'll have to see if my cousin 
mellen remembers.
Smoothwaters : Does Los Cucos ring a bell with anyone as the restaurant that is now Vision Source. The architecture of the building suggests something Mexican?
