Changed again. I cant remember all the names this place has been. With all the Mexican restaurants we have, you have to do something pretty damn good to stand out and be "favorite" above the others.

Good luck to them. If anyone has tried it, what did u think?

Seems like a sign put on with velcro may be in order.

The chicken wing place finally has some staying power in what had been Ninfa's building then 15 more names. That place has really been jinxed.

That place changes constantly, and I didn't even notice! Good luck to them, I hope they make it. I would really love for Mencius to come back, but I'm not sure if they are able to.

I think when places change like that, they get bought by someone maybe really good at managing but when they buy and own it, it becomes a completely different ball game.

Hacienda Palomas has also flipped names and owners frequently, though I don't believe as many as Cilantro's/Pablo's/Los Primos.

@CatalinaKitKat : I miss Mencius, too, but unfortunately I doubt it will ever reopen. The original owners, Cindy and Horace, retired a while ago and it was then taken over by family members. Then, if I remember correctly, it was sold to someone else. It was never the same after Cindy and Horace.

Sisyphus : Again, your opinion. Takes a different perspective when you have had many good times there, with friends and family. It's a great lunch, happy hour or dinner spot, with ample parking and a location familiar to everyone. It doesn't have to be Michelin-anointed to be a great meet up spot.

Smoothwaters: it does seem to be representative of the decline many speak of. There was a time when Aldi or a Dollar store would be unheard of in KW. Once they came into the center, it changed forever.
