Would you buy a house that flooded in Harvey? Would you buy a house that flooded during Harvey? Especially with all the development updates that we get from BobRehak?

SpaceCat : I'd consider it if that was the only time it happened. Harvey was an anomaly for Kingwood. We got 55" of rain here and didn't flood til they opened up the reservoir up north.

Consider that HEB rebuilt - they were the largest commercial property flooded. They did a rational analysis based on the best information available. Look at Torchy's flood line on the wall - they rebuilt. Granted, no one lives at HEB or Torchy's, but they do have a lot to lose.

No. Also check the elevation. Any home under 15ft above sea level will flood again.

No - I'd be stressed out every time we got a hard rainstorm.
