Rail road crossing accident Just now a car in front of us stops on rail road tracks as the train approaches. Tries to reverse but is hitting the crossing gate . We are honking at him to just drive forward to get off the track. He backs up just enough so that the train hits his car with less force and he only gets spun into the ditch rather than getting absolutely destroyed. I would avoid the area around Ford rd as the train is now stopped blocking the way. Be careful !

v1kings28 : Car vs train - train always wins. Why do people take chances??? Hopefully no injuries. Vehicles are replaceable; people are not.

I always see people that stop on the tracks and it terrifies me. I even had someone honk at me for stopping before the line in front of the tracks. He was waving at me to move forward which would have had me sitting on on the tracks for the red light.
