WOW!!!!! It cost me about One Thousand Dollars to have NORTHPARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL SPAY A six pound Chihuahua…..not to mention the EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY EIGHT DOLLAR visit four days earlier for the bloodwork and X-rays, a rabies shot and a tiny bottle of pain meds. Sad that care for our companion animals is getting so high in this area.
Doddlebug50 : Animal Care of Lake Houston is far far less expensive. You have to get on the wait list but it's worth it.

Doddlebug50 : Always get costs up front. I had a similar issue there years ago when I was a customer. Learned to get a quote upfront so there are no surprises!
Doddlebug50 : I have always taken my pets to Lake Houston Animal Hospital. I do not want to pay KW prices. They include shots with physicals at no additional cost.
muffy : teeth cleaning Is expensive; often they have to use some kind of anesthesia, so this raises the price, for that. My sister buys a dental care biscuit from Purina that works on her smaller dogs. I think they are called Dentalife; the dogs like them
Doddlebug50 : Wow! That's ridiculous. I've noticed since this clinic was sold, I get a "discount" on visits through my email. When my dog got sick and I went there - I told them I had X amount of dollars to spend and didn't want every lab they could think of run. I have not been back since.
