Companies like Sprouts and Trader Joe's look for data indicating community support. The number of gyms a community supports is a factor for a assessing a community's lifestyle.So if you want a Sprouts, the presence of gyms can serve as the magnet.

Lucky7s : Well yes, better than staying empty. I just feel Kingwood is not very balanced in terms of a variety of retail. Example: clothing stores. There are a few in that same shopping center but that is it. I detest going to the mall.

I agree with you. I wish we had a department store like Target or Kohls. Or how about a shoe store? I hate having to leave Kingwood when the kiddos need some clothing item for school the next day.

I like living in the suburbs but I want the best of both. I would be happiest just being able to walk everywhere.

mrscook429 : I would like to see the whole front Randalls center be turned into clothing, shoes etc.James Avery is vacating and moving to the old HEB center. I never even go to the business in there.

We have several fitness centers already, but it's still better than a store sitting empty like a ghost town for all these years.
