Join Levon's Journey to Recovery and Renewed Happiness
From the Montgomery County Animal Shelter: Want to be the one that gives a sad story a happy ending? Read on! Levon (A400538) is an older gentleman who arrived at our shelter as part of a cruelty and seizure case, having lived in deplorable conditions with several other animals. Despite his past, Levon remains a sweet and mild-mannered dog who enjoys simply hanging out and exploring his surroundings. He currently shares his kennel with another dog, walks well on a leash, and absolutely loves ear scratches.
Levon has a large mass on the right side of his body, suspected to be a lipoma—a benign (non-cancerous) tumor composed of fat cells. In addition, he is undergoing treatment for a possible urinary tract infection (UTI), as he recently started peeing blood. Fortunately, radiography has shown no urinary stones, and we are optimistic that he will recover well with the proper treatment. We would love to see Levon spend some time outside the shelter, experiencing the comfort and love he truly deserves. Levon A400538, 8yrs, Neutered Male, 46lbs, Heartworm Negative
