Portable AC needed! (FOUND)

FOUND!

Hey guys -

Does anyone have a window or stand-up AC unit they're not using? I know I'm probably SOL but I figure I'd ask!

A friend of mine drove to San Antonio to get a generator and then got power back 10 minutes after they turned it on lol. (New Caney)

It's much larger than ours so they leant it to us.

Since I have the capacity now, I'd really like to run a portable AC back towards the bedrooms because my elderly mother in law sleeping in 90 degree temps is not a good situation. She would normally go to my dad's because he has a Generac but he has a tree through the guest bedroom. ðŸ¤¦â€â™€ï¸

My husband is at Lowes because the website said they had some but they don't. He'll try other places but I wanted to ask here first.

I know we're all in the same boat but if anyone has one we could borrow I would really, really appreciate it.

I don't have one but I do have a box fan we aren't using if that will help. Give her some bandanas and washcloths dipped in cold water and sit in front of fan. Need to cool the skin to cool the body temperature. Let me know if you want the fan.

My husband is about to go get the generator and he's driving around looking so hopefully he finds something.

I purchased a portable ac at the Porter Walmart yesterday morning. They had a lot in stock.

Hey guys we found a window unit! Yay!! $400 I don't exactly have to blow but I don't care at this point.
