Thunder

Just went outside and as of 6:30AM it's already very hot and super humid. It's going to be an interesting day. From everything I read, we'll all need to batten down the hatches for the next 3-4 days.

Ticagro : I just posted what Space City has to say and they are going with the models that show SW of here having the issues now and not so much Houston. (Galveston will) Let's hope! I see the models they're looking at, and I see what they're seeing, so I hope we're both right lol. 😉🤷‍♀️

StormChaser : Sounds good. Rain is good, torrential rain not so much. I have to drive to Dallas tomorrow morning, leaving home around 5AM. Hopefully it's not the third trip in a row that I have to almost pull over on 45 because the rain is so hard I can barely see the road ahead.

We just got a downpour of rain here @ 1960 & Townsen w/thunder but it's let up for now.

These tropical showers are short lived but intense! It just came down for about 90 seconds and then turned off like a faucet!

Sorry for the crap quality - showers are becoming more numerous. Nothing severe or flood causing. Just heavy, fast moving tropical showers. These are my absolute favorite! The environment is just different when the storms are related to a tropical system. It has a certain smell. 🩵 Now that the flooding concerns have subsided some, I'm enjoying that wonderful smell this morning with my coffee....and a fan. 🥵 Lord, that humidity!

I like these kind of storms also . If we could just get rid of the humidity. Have you noticed theNorth East is having a heat dome and probably will have some record breaking temperatures.
