Lake Houston is being loweref They just started about an hour ago. They are lowering it 12 inches in anticipation of the upcoming storm.

StormChaser : Did I hear right that it did actually develop into something? Not that it would matter because rain would come from what was there no matter but in your opinion if it did or does develop into more will that mean a greater impact for the rain that's coming?

From Jeff Lindner:

Increasing threats for heavy rainfall and flooding (especially late Tuesday into Wednesday). Will need to keep an eye on local creeks, bayous, and rivers for any flooding depending on where the heaviest rains fall.

Minor coastal flooding expected at times of high tide Tues-Wed. Low lying areas subject to coastal flooding will likely see some issues at high tide ( Bolivar, west end GLS, Blue Water Highway, Tiki Is, San Leon, Seabrook, Shoreacres). Dangerous surf conditions.

Hazardous marine conditions develop early Monday…small craft should be in and remain in port by Monday until conditions improve late week.
