StormChaser : let's hope that it's wrong and we are rain free for a few days/weeks. We need to dry out just a bit! Hope your day is filled with happiness and sunshine!

Saturday weather - 930am Welp looks like we're in for round 254 of storms this afternoon! 🙄 An area of thunderstorms is forecasted to develop to our southwest not long after lunchtime. 2-5pm looks active across Harris county today. Of course, it could start up earlier, or start up in the middle of that time frame, so keep that in mind when out and about. The usual severe threats are there - damaging winds, hail, and have rainfall. Several models show these showers sitting over parts of the area from 2-5ish. If that happens, it will obviously cause street flooding issues. This isn't a guarantee of course but I wanted to point it out since it's a Saturday. Space City Weather has not updated today, which I see as a good sign. They obviously aren't seeing anything that needs to be addressed or updated from their forecast yesterday. (At least not yet) If they do update, I'll post it here. Bottom line - keep an eye on things to our SW starting at lunchtime. Fox 26 has a great weather app that is free. Great, easy radar that will send alerts to your phone if a warning is issued. (Go to settings in the app and turn on notifications) I might not be able to be online during this time but I'll do my best!! ❤️ This shouldn't be like Monday but it seems the models these days can't come to a conclusion until storms are almost here so just be mindful of that.

I wouldn't mind a nice rain but the high winds, hail and tornado threats are getting old.

I'm at the beach and it is storming pretty bad my Oso dog thinks. I had to get them on my bed and let him behind me. He is scared but it is just thunder and rain. He's my big baby while little Luna girl is asleep. Oso is sending it your way.

So glad my lawn crew showed up this morning. With all the rain we've been having, the grass had really gotten tall ... and full of mosquitoes!

StormChaser :
Thank you! I just saw CH 2 say there could be another quick 'blob' ( edumacated weather term! :D ), with some red (intense) in it, at about 5pm on Sunday. Did you see that next week will be less storm hectic? I thought I did, earlier this week, on Fox Houston?
