Has Wood stream subdivision flooded since Hurricane Harvey & does it flood much there? My son, DIL & granddaughter have an offer in on a home ( it's gorgeous) but inspection came back that the water/sewer lines are backed up. Their Realtor is dealing with it but they're in their option period. Estimate $25k. The seller wasn't aware until today.

fudgiesmom2 : The seller didn't know until today as well. The seller disclosed that they only flooded during Hurricane Harvey but the home is in pristine condition otherwise

Woodstream is a large neighborhood. You can use this tool to get an idea of where it floods. www.harriscountyfemt .org/

Also, Google "Risk Factor "and that will tell you the house's flood risk. I did this when buying my new home.
