Meet Bourbon! The Perfect Hiking and Swimming Companion!

Meet Bourbon! The Perfect Hiking and Swimming Companion!Bourbon recently got to join some of his other shelter friends and volunteers on a group hike. (Although we may be using that term loosely). Maybe on future hikes, the water needs to be avoided until the end...Here is what his walker, Nat, had to say about their time together: "I had Bourbon on the Hiking with Hounds today and he is the most perfect dog!!! He is gentle and sweet, rode well in the car. He just sat there looking out the front with me and was excited to go somewhere. On the hike, well...Bourbon absolutely LOVES water. He laid right down in it and even struck his head underwater a few times! He was so adorable. He was friendly with everyone and all the dogs and only looked interested in the horse that passed us but had no reaction to it at all.
After the hike, he got some burgers and he let me feed him and took them very gently. He was a tired boy when we headed back to the shelter.Bourbon would make an amazing hiking and swimming buddy. But also loves to love on you come meet this beautiful 4 year old boy and make him part of your family.Bourbon, ID: A390148
