Suspect Apprehended for DWI and Firearm Possession in HarrisFrom the office of Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4:CONSTABLES ARREST SUSPECT FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED AND FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM On March 31, 2024, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's responded to a welfare check on a male asleep inside a parked vehicle in the 7400 block of Pine Cup Drive. Upon arriving, deputies identified the male as Gary Dwayne Dotson, a convicted felon who appeared to be intoxicated. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was determined that he was intoxicated. After the arrest, a search of the vehicle revealed a firearm within close proximity of where he was sitting. "Gary Dwayne Dotson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. His bond was set at $600.00 out of County Court 3 and the 488th District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
