This tree was completely bare. It sure filled in nicely. It has only been trimmed once, about 4 years ago and only the bottom branches. The canopy's shape grew like this naturally. I planted it about 12 years ago.

WTF : You did good! This tree has a great shape. What kind is it?
WTF : If it was me, trim the branches that are brushing up against your house and/or siding. Cockroaches use plants to get into your house as tree branches wiping your house when the wind gets high. This discussion has been locked.
