Stay Safe and Skip the Celebratory Gunfire This Season

From Harris County Constable Mark Herman:

CELEBRATORY GUNFIRE, DON’T DO IT!!!

Celebratory gunfire is very dangerous and could cause injury or death to people when the bullet falls back to the ground.
It is against the law! Please do not fire guns into the air.

Not only is it stupid, as what goes up, must come down, only a fool would waste ammunition.

Anyone stupid enough to do this won't listen anyway. How about if you’re celebrating, keep your weapons locked up. I know I do.

Baldrick : Yes sir - weapons and celebrations, especially any involving alcohol, do not mix.

I haven't heard of anyone doing this in years. Is it really still a thing??

Jonn : Oh yes.
