Apology for the Town Center Park Laser Show!
I was very embarrassed by what was supposed to be a synchronized laser show last night. The Producer, Laser Spectacles, was contracted to provide a show that was laser images synchronized with a custom sound track. They did not do that. Despite being on site for 10 hours prior to the show they had not tested their connection to the sound board and their laptop audio output did not work! That was the reason for the 20-minute delay. Finally, our sound team played a patriotic music track from one of our previous fireworks shows but there was no synchronization. Also, they had not blown enough vapor into the Park so the back half of the Park had no vapor and so had no laser images. I was very disappointed and extremely angry and let them know that!! I again apologize to the great crowd that came out and enjoyed the rest of the day with us.

tonyaust2000 : I realize things didn't go as you expected, but you provided entertainment and services to the crowd at no charge. You don't owe anyone an apology. The people need to thank you for your work and efforts that went into planning the event. Sure, we've had some fun with this thread (and will continue to do so in the future). In fact, those thinking they are or were owed need to get some perspective.

tonyaust2000 : Some people are quick to complain about something they didn't have to pay for. You and your group provide a great service to our community through your organizing of events in KW Town Center. Keep up the good work!

tonyaust2000 : We have not been to a 4th of July celebration in kingwood for a few years for obvious reasons. Who decides if the night show will be fireworks, laser lights, or drones? Is this celebration put on by the COH or is it put on by some Kingwood antity? It sure would be nice to be able to park at the high school or the park and ride and see fireworks next year.
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Town Center Park Association does them with support from sponsors and vendors. We are going to look at fireworks again!!

tonyaust2000 : Thank you for providing a free show. This was beyond your control. I hope they refund you some of your money. You will learn from this next year. It will be better. Thank you for all you do for the Kingwood community. It's a lot. You work hard for this community. Most of us appreciate it.
