StormChaser : Yep! It's crazy hot/humid here in LA as well. We're getting ready to mow. Would've started earlier but didn't want to wake the neighbors. 😉
StormChaser : Wow, it is that hot! At least you were smart enough to get the outdoorsy things done super early. It's hard for me to tell how hot it is, seeing how I'm in a pleasant 74 degree room and the halls are about 72. I'm thankful for that! Hope your day is filled with happiness and Blessings!
StormChaser : Seriously y'all need to move here. 73 and it feels like 73! I laugh when "they"talk about the heat here. I tell them that 90's with 90+% humidity makes all the difference in the world.
Labslady : I'm not good w the dry heat. I get sick every time we go west for more than 2 days 😞 I need the moisture I guess. I feel like SpongeBob taken out of the bikini bottom...I dry up and feel horrible. And I like the green in the east. When I drove a trick I did west for the 1st 6 months or so, then went to the east and I love the green and scenery east much better. But I am glad you are settling in and enjoying your new home there.
Planting some Zinnia's I thought 6am would be a good time to plant some Zinnia's that my husband got for the front porch. 20 minutes and I was drenched. 🥵 It's that 87% humidity that's killer! Today is our "coolest" day in the coming week at 99°. (Get the parka!) 🥶 Every day this upcoming week is forecasted to be 101°-102° (actual temps, not feels like) Stay hydrated if you're out and about! That was enough "outdoorsiness" for me lol. A nap is definitely in my future since I've been up since 1am. I hope everyone has a great Sunday! 😎🔥
