As many of you have read recently, the Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 office will be assuming all law enforcement duties in the Tomball Independent School District in the upcoming school year!

Our Boss, Constable Mark Herman met with Dr. Z and her school board at which time, and wonderful relationship was started with Tomball ISD and Precinct 4!

On June 6, 2023, Commissioner Tom Ramsey recognized Dr. Zamora and her staff in the attached resolution to Commissioner’s court!

Commissioner Tom S. Ramsey was thrilled to present a resolution recognizing Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora as the 2023 Region 4 Superintendent of the Year!

With over 36 years of experience in education, Dr. Salazar-Zamora has not only made history as the first woman and Hispanic superintendent in Tomball but has also been nominated for the prestigious Texas Association of School Boards 2023 Texas Superintendent of the Year Program.

Under her guidance, Tomball ISD has become a shining example of excellence, earning the title of the Top-Rated School District in both Harris and Montgomery Counties based on accountability ratings.

In addition, Niche's 2023 rankings recognized the district as the No. 1 Best School District in Harris County and the Best Place to Teach, with the district's teachers being hailed as the best in both counties and the Houston Area.

We also recognize her leadership in opening Tomball ISD’s first Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) for Healthcare and an Early Excellence Academy and spearheading the acquisition of a multipurpose educational facility—a $300 million commercial/industrial complex—for a fraction of the cost at $37 million.

These strategic moves ensure a bright future for the students of Tomball.

Thank you, Dr. Salazar-Zamora, for your dedication and service to the children of Tomball.

We look forward to seeing what else you will achieve!
