About Soux Vide. Had no idea what it meant. Looked it up ...and guess what happened? It just showed up. I told Jan!
That it was his fault!
Now to try it out!
That it was his fault!
Ray : my DD loves it. She says the best steak restaurants use them for quicker service. She learned about it in culinary school. She said it's great for flavorless chicken breasts and turkey to get the flavors deeper.🤷â€â™€ï¸ I wasn't allowed to use it when she lived here 😀

Ray : He can be a bad influence!
Ray : Best steak you will ever eat dude. Put a couple fillets in one of those vacuum sealed bags and cook it to perfection and then sear it quickly in a screaming hot pan with some butter.
ZMAN : I can't argue. My son said, let me cook your ribeye for you, and proceeded to bag it and boil it. I was over in the loft writing him out of the will for ruining a perfectly good $20 ribeye when I could smell the searing going on. I went downstairs and saw then tasted what he'd done and nearly cried. It was wonderful. This discussion has been locked.
