@Creased : because it felt and sounded like it should hurt really bad. He was a little man and I swear at one point he was using my chair to brace himself, then pull my tooth out. 4951

Wisdom teeth I have a consultation to get my wisdom teeth removed today. I'm excited yet scared... I know when that day comes, i am going to freak OUT! Does anyone have any extraction horror stories? Idk why I do this to myself lol

@Creased : Nope....no horror stories. I had them all out when I was a kid.. It isn't that hard. BTW...that was many years ago so things have even gotten better since then. 4951

Years ago it was suggested all 4 of mine come out. I called ******** because I had zero problems with any of them. 35+ years later, still not a single issue with them. I think it was just an easy extraction times 4 and profitable. 4951

I had 5 of them. I had to get them all pulled. They were impacted and all too close together. The oral surgeon put me under. It took hours but I didnt feel a thing. Then I just slept alot for three days. He gave me good pain meds and I needed them. 4951

I had mine removed when I was 14. Only remember being wheeled out the back door to the car. The next day, as my mom was helping me back to the couch from the bathroom, I passed out for the first time ever! 4951

@Creased : Mine weren't so bad, I had one that was impacted, it took me about a week to get back to normal, but it was a smooth recovery.
Goodluck! 4951

@Creased : Do they have to sedate you? Or are they just numbing? I made sure to eat a good meal the night before, it makes all the difference 🥃🍔🥩 4951

@Creased : That's the way to go! I went under, and I just remember waking up a minute later, the next week was tough, but it was not nearly as bad as I expected. 4951

@ByakuyaKuchiki : it gives me hope! I'm a big carbonated water fan so knowing I can't drink them for a solid amount of time is killing me. Hoping for a speedy recovery before Father's Day Emoticon 4951

@donnatella : It's a hit or miss, mine was impacted (sideways) I never had any pain, but it started to shift my other teeth, so I chose to get it out sooner than later. I know a few people who have all their wisdom teeth and they are perfectly usable teeth. 4951
