@HollyHobby : Strawberry rhubarb. It's homogeneous mixture of both fruit. Not a strawberry pie with that red gelatinous gloppy stuff. 4951

Has anyone tried Flying Saucer pies? Isn't that the place people line up outside for hours around Thanksgiving and Christmas? Do they even sell pie this time of year or is it just a seasonal thing?

@monyhoney : They're open year around... They're just more "famous" at Thanksgiving. 4951

@monyhoney : They are open all year, but I recommend calling to see if they have what you want before making the trek. As I recall, their menu varies with the produce seasons. I haven't worked in that area and eaten their pies for 14 years, so that may have changed. I'm not a huge pie fan, so I'm not sure about standing in line for hours, but they were tasty. Unless things have changed, I don't think there's anywhere to sit and eat it there. 4951

@Jonn : after you read the ingrediants (including, soybean oil instead of butter), you'll realize you're NOT getting what you thought you were paying for. ALL of Kroger bakery goods are FACTORY quality. JUNK.

Restaurants are serving WORSE QUALITY straight from a warehouse. They KNOW you can't read their ingrediants lists. 4951
