As Kingwood continues to rebuild after Hurricane Harvey, H-E-B Kingwood Market, located at 4517 Kingwood Drive, will re-open its doors, Friday, January 19 at 6 a.m. after closing due to extensive flooding from the storm.

The store’s Fuel Station will open for business on January 8, establishing regular hours from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. Trucks will arrive Wednesday, January 10 to begin stocking the completely redesigned and upgraded store for a grand re-opening on Friday, January 19.

Unit Director Tony Klaus, said the newly repaired and revamped store will pick up where it left off before the storm providing brand innovation and world-class shopping in Kingwood. “Kingwood has been through so much and we are more than thrilled to re-open and help restore our community,” said Klaus. “We hope this will serve as a catalyst to further recovery.”

The expansive, 105,000 square-foot store opened in October 2016 offering more for less and unsurpassed freshness, quality, and variety. The store quickly became the area’s preferred one-stop shop premiering H-E-B Meal Simple products, H-E-B Curbside Pick Up, more than 345 H-E-B Organics options and H-E-B Select Ingredients, a line consisting of H-E-B brand products that excludes unwanted ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors.

Also, an H-E-B True Texas BBQ is scheduled to open soon.

I heard they changed the rules. You have to bring your own shopping cart. 4951

At least they don't make you rent your cart. That's crazy. 25 cents is nothing but it's the principle of the thing that is the problem. 25 cents will not stop someone from stealing it or leaving it in the parking lot. 4951

I'm trying to understand the curb pick up thing. I see they have constructed a covered pull through area on the west side. Is that just to pick up what you just picked out and paid for? Might be nice in the rain. In Minnesota where my cousins live they have that and it really helps in the winter when it's snowing or just really cold. Or is it for some kind of online shopping/pickup option?

@Chrisinkingwood It will be for ordering your groceries online and then picking them up there. 4951

@Chrisinkingwood I read that it's where you pick up your online order and the BBQ they will be selling. 4951

Does it appear that someone is posting just to win the prize? 4951
