Tennessee Execution Fails

Possible causes...not in a vein or the drugs were old or mixed improperly. Medical professionals cannot do lethal injections in most states and keep their licenses, so training is required and it has to be re-trained because it is not like they do this task daily. Personally, after all these years, it seems political that the victim's mother can push (right before elections) to have the death sentence pushed....I am not against the death penalty. I am against having people in prison for long periods and endless appeals and retrials. Our family has been through that, and the appeals are even worse than original trials! So, my suggestion is abolish the death penalty and lock down "no shortened life sentences, and no possibility of parole" and there can be 1 appeal if qualified for appeal.
