I agree, it all adds up to be painful. Im not arguing that.
My whole point was about how the media picks and choses what you see and it fits the liberal agenda.
This is why people get triggered, emotions and not logic.
Prices at the store are getting worse every week, seems like every time I go something else I buy has gone up. Neither party is going to fix it but yea it should be in the news.
People that did n't understand got triggered in 2020, much like today.
Democracy has its weaknesses.
Of course it does. But when someone shows you facts, you should accept that.
If you go off saying wages aren't keeping up with inflation and someone shows you that they are, that's emotional.
They are not if you u derstand what changing the PCE formula did. Plain and simple. It's harder to manipulate the wage data. Inflation was. You know that and simply refuse to discuss or accept. That is dishonest.
I am very unemotional about this subject.

The whole MSM crap is hat.
For huge segments of the population the media streams are not the legcy or cable networks. Conservative radio, podcasts, and content crea.tors I have only heard of are the main media sources.
Th e cable station with the most viewers is Fox News.
#msg6032785I've noticed the mainstream media, even local stations like Channel 2, doing story after story after story DAILY about inflation and grocery prices. Pushing that narrative that seems to suggest inflation is crippling people and ruining the economy. While prices are up and none of us enjoy this, is it really all that much worse now to warrant endless sob stories about how bad it is right before mid terms….hmmmm bc inflation under Biden was 9% friends…
Ok, you said when someone shows you the data that proves a point you should just except it. Fair enough. You asked why I denied the economy was worse under Biden. I stated I didn't. It was worse and then better as well. Biden's worst inflation was 9.1% in June 2022. When Biden left office inflation was at 2.9%. Your original post gets some facts wrong about why the news is talking so much about high prices. It's true that prices went up a lot under Biden. But the media is talking about it a lot right now because new government's own numbers show that prices are jumping up again to 3.7% right before the elections.

News stations report on this every day simply because food and gas costs affect everyone's daily lives, not because they are playing political favourites. It's a faulty premise. They reported during Biden's term just the same as Trump's. If we used the logic you provided then the sampling of stories from Biden's term shouldn't exist. I threw in a couple of op eds as well from some of the legislators. They are quite silent now on he economy, at least the ones who wrote in these samples. You have now been presented data... again. Wiki is very liberal. The fact is mainstream media consistently slants the facts.
OK, I gave you ple time to do your reearch. Did you ee that some volative elements were removed from what is considered to measue inflation? In my honest opinion, removing energy prices not being included is deceitful. What do you think of that sleight of hand?
