Brewmaster : Demo is expensive so I could see that but what about just an acre of land for existing homes. Is that even an option. Seems like it was from his statement. What is the price for a non demo acre. If it's 6 digits forget it. Way over priced market value. I just want the land, nothing else.
@sweetie : I hope they don't approve them to build homes! They need to tear it down and put a park there or other natural area! 4951
Ron Holley a developer has apparently bought the Forest Cove golf course. Looks like he's selling it in acre lot. Has anyone heard about this?
But even if it didn't flood, won't all the new development change the natural flow of water for future rain events? 4951

sweetie : Will he have fireworks? Will they be visible for everyone?
Weathergirl5 : If I had that kinda coin I would do it. Residents would have to pay for cutting it and property taxes though. I would also need a muscular Bronze statue of myself gazing onto the park with a pewter AR 15.
Don't forget the million or two it would take to buy the property, somebody's gotta do that. A park etc is out of the question, it's private property, it's gotta to produce some income for the buyer, unless he/she is very "giving". 4951
300k is ridiculous.
Build you just an average house and you're real close to 700K, to be Zmans neighbor. That's alil much.
I really like FC but where did he come up with 300K an acre? Where else is land close to that expensive? I'm not doubting the poster that posted that, but wow! 4951
beastmode Let me know what you find out, I'm also interested in purchasing the acre behind my house. Not for 300K though.
Reivax : Homes from KW drive and back can have horses. I thought everyone in FC could.
sweetie : These would not be under the FC HOA. Assuming they would have their own HOA. I'm sure they would allow a horse though with 1 acre. Most of these homes sit on about .3 to .5 but there are some bigger ones. I do know it's legal to drive golf carts but that may go away with no course.
beastmode : sweetie My understanding from all our previous discussions back when the other owner was threatening apartments, the golf course property is NOT a part of Forest Cove Subdivision....it's all on it's own. Therefore they could and should form their own HOA.
