I cruise all the time just not during hurricane season if going in the gulf. Been to see the changing of the leaves in Canada, Mediterranean, eastern and western Caribbean cruises and cruised around Hawaii and ended up in Canada.
So many cruises I can't even keep track. We have been on several lines but we mostly like Royal. I am very fond of Celebrity Cruises as well.

When cruising, ships will usually visit at least one foreign port. Seattle cruises doing a round trip to Alaska, will visit Victoria, BC & you'd need a passport to get off the ship.

I've been on many cruises and Alaska is my favorite. The next one I'm excited about is my first 2 week cruise from Galveston to some of the St islands. st Thomas, St Croix and several other spots I've never been to. I just really enjoy how relaxing cruises are. I know many don't feel the same but for me, just get me a the ship any destination!!!

KanKan we went Sept 11-21. Highs in the 60s, lows in the 40s. My MIL wanted to go at the end of the season because the shops put everything on sale The weather wasn't bad. You just need layers including waterproof. Alaska is actually the world's largest temperate rainforest and it rains a lot there.

mrscook429: Your post brought back wonderful memories of a similar cruise (Norwegian) that my DH and I enjoyed several years ago. You went at a perfect time to escape our heat and humidity for awhile.

I love to cruise but have no travelling partner. I am going to investigate cruise lines that have solo cabins

I just booked a 7 night cruise to Western Caribbean on Norwegian Cruise line on the Aqua. Their largest and just a year old ship. I can't wait!!

A friend of mine just cruised the Mississippi River. She started at Louisiana and went to St Louis last year. This year she started in St Louis and went North. I'm not sure where it ended. She said it was wonderful and very relaxing.
