Please remember the "news" organization do not have test results. And this man had a family. Frankly, many of these comments are unworthy of this group. I know there are differing opinions, but we need to be considerate.

It is a shame such an old fixture of Americsn Journalism is failing. But the times are a changing and as you know most folks don't read the paper now. There are so many sources for news, even if some of these old institutions have an on line presence, it's not enough to sustain them.

I have seen reported... Meth, Salt and Electrolyte mix (Gatorade powder).

It seems all the local media networks are reporting the mixture was a homemade electrolyte very commonly used with outdoor workers. Yes. This will also have to be proven. But still dont know why people on here already assumed it was meth

Here illegally AND had meth, which is worse than pot as you point out, which means now they had it coming? Still don't like that type of thinking. I have no idea what happened. Maybe ICE was justified. Some on here seemed to be high 5'ing every time we blew up a boat. Similar thinking . Didn't like that either.
