I had a bf that went there with a friend who I am sure was bi. My bf def was not though, he had known the guy for years. He would not let me tag along with them there and I was mad about it. I got along great with gay guys, and did not even think about girls being there lol.

when Smash Shack takes over their kitchen, they make good burgers, pasta and pizza. I heard they have lingerie night, but we check their FB page to avoid these 'feature' nights.

I had just graduated from SHSU; grew up country; FFA Sweetheart and all. This was 1978, so a Whole 'nother era, of people just getting comfortable being any alternative to 'the norm'.( their term then, not mine) I have never been judgemental and was fine with you "love who you love', even back in the day; still am. But, I had never been to a club with a feature night like this, and I was oblivious! We actually began going there on that night a few times a year, because it was nice to sit, chat, dance, and Not be bothered by males trying to hit on us!

Smoothwaters : I've heard that for several years. One of those IYKYK situations because it's not heavily advertised…well, until Nico's did it. Just seems like an all new low for this place. I can see where that niche market would love it, but truthfully, how sustainable could that be longterm?

grinchy : I don't get why they don't just get the proper permits and officially become a swingers club. It's what they're aiming for, isn't it? There is no biker night, no LGBTQ night, no cowboy night, no college night, no punk rock night, etc. The ONLY specialty clientele they're ever catering to are swingers.
