ForestFinds : Must be a value thing taught by parents at home. It's not an Income thing-The average household income is slightly higher in Kingwood than here in Gilbert. It really not that hard to take your trash home with you.

ForestFinds : And the tourism thing is right too. We really fell in love when we moved DD here last year. Their downtown are is really fun filled with restaurants and shops. And the same with their " mall" area.

Section 6.24 Dog and Cat Feces Houston requires any person in control of a dog or cat to promptly remove and dispose of feces that are left by the animal. Not having materials to remove feces is not a valid excuse under the law. This law does not apply to feces left in the owner's own yard.Apr 24, 2018

I don't want to step off the trail (with my dog - who is a barker and licker) and step in poop. Pick that 💩 up! I'd hate to see yards of no poop picker uppers. 🙄

Well nothing is going to change, just get worse, throw it on the ground, throw it out the window. I was at Dollar tree/Aldi parking lot, these people most likely not residents of the area, they all opened their doors threw all the trash on the ground drove away. Laughing.
Texasdad : Worse than dog poop on the trails is human poop in the diaper on the parking lot!!!!!

Reverb2000 : And to be fair, it can get a bit obnoxious. There's a spot on a greenbelt near an apartment complex, that I call ********** Corner. Lots of folks from the complex hit that small stretch of greenbelt and there are piles all over the place.
buffaloglenn : cbear : I agree - the plastic is silly. But, as long as your dog hasn't left a Saint Bernard-sized steaming pile in the middle of the greenbelt, no problem. Dog owners should at least make sure the dump isn't on the greenbelt.
buffaloglenn : Is that the apartments in Woodland Hills on the trail? I see the dog owners letting their dogs poop over and over again right outside the apartment fence, it is so stinky! It is huge mounds and mounds of dog poop everyday by many dog owners. It is very unsanitary. I stopped walking that trail, nasty… This discussion has been locked.
