The Fosters Mill HOA was asking about the design, fabrication and cost .....they were researching............. to create a full team for Santa near the Golden Ponds. The good thing is since they are a jig saw puzzle, they are easy to store....they lie flat on the ground.

One of the kids lives in fields store. Hopefully this year is better regulated. Imagine kingwood high school pick up time 24-7. Just like bolivar ferry, bring back resident passes!

wmubronco : That would be cool! Will you be building them? I can't wait to see the display at Fosters Mill. I love they store flat!

I could help supervise, but I would recommend Eagle Scouts or high school kids perform these tasks. Now that you mention it........I should contact village HOA to see if they want to pursue it.....budget, Bill of Materials, delivery of materials, tools, planning...scheduling ....storage facility available? Lighting plan when they are assembled.................what, how, when?

wmubronco : That sounds like a fun project for an Eagle Scout. If an Eagle Scout does it, would he be able to have help from his troop members?

I would think so..............each would have to be able to use an electric sabre saw...jig saw.........and handle 3/4" plywood sheets with others. But, possible.....

We usually go once a year, as a tradition, but I'm not sure if we'll be able to make the trip out there this year. I don't like how you have to pick the date of when you are going, when purchasing tickets, either. Our son may still get to go with friends, though.

I am concerned about pre buying with our being in El Nino and the increased change of rain. I thought you could still but day of, it just costs more.

KingwoodNana : That's true, you can buy them day of, but you miss out on any discounts. I didn't think about the weather being a factor, but that's a really good reason to hesitate, as well.

I need someone to give me the RenFest rundown. I bought tickets early to save $. I ordered disposable ponchos, since there's no refunds. I have a costume. I paid for premium parking. I'm keeping water, different shoes, and a change of clothes in my vehicle. I want to go in the morning but night time sounds more entertaining. What am I missing?
