I don't think another gym will add as much traffic as Target would at the front where everyone enters Kingwood. The parking is another issue all together. I really don't see why opening another gym is a good business idea, though. We have enough gyms IMHO.
100%. While The Collective has nothing I'm personally interested in, I like that it gives local entrepreneurs a place to sell their goods.

#msg6006432TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Target is better for individuals to buy needed items for their homes than a flea market/craft sale. There is a reason Painted Tree had no cars parked in front of it.
Anytime I went to the Painted Tree the parking lot was always fairly full and there was always a line to check out even though there were 3 to 5 people manning the registers. I have to say I think they did really well. To bad the owners were not honest people.

#msg6000007WitchQueen : More sunshine. A lot of people enjoyed the Painted Tree. If we want cheap clothes, we go to Target.
I haven't purchased anything from Target (online or in store) in many years. The Collective will be a " see it , touch it, pick it up, move on"… a place to kill time.
TEXASGIRLMAMMA reacted Never say never. You may get over there one day to wander. Maybe pick up a gift, maybe see something you like for yourself.
I myself love handmade scarves, hats, and artwork. I like unique pieces. I love meeting other creators. We work very hard. Besides selling, we first come up with designs, do the supplies shopping, inventory, books, etc. Most times, it's a one person show. We wear all the hats, take on every aspect of a business. Lol big box delegates duties out and collects way more profit. Then asks for donations to their charities, lol.
I quit shopping for anything unnecessary. Food, gas, and odds and ends needed. Yes I do need furniture, but have ya seen it lately? And we have to put it together lol. But I'm holding out until I either find a unique quality piece, or I say **** it and build what I want out of real wood. At least artists and crafters are proud and stand behind their workmanship.
When we moved up to Arkansas by bull Shoals, I was actually gonna learn how to tie flies. World renowned fishing and they cater to them. You should check it out. Just prepare yourself for the ticks, chiggers, and tarantula, lol not joking.
