The Woodlands Lunch Recommendations?

It closes.at.3pm, but they serve breakfast all day. They are a bakery too and have the Best Brownies. They come in a bag of 16. Good cupcakes, cakes.

Those of you who go to The Woodlands for a restaurant have more patience than I. One way is a 55 minute drive from West Lake Houston Parkway, then park, eat, and drive 55 minutes home. It's a 3 to 4 hour event. I can be downtown in 35 minutes.

Chow : Dude! Don't even get me started! lol. We didn't even eat there today. Ended up at Saltgrass in New Caney. It has been a long day and traffic was terrible.P.S. The grand did suggest Whataburger. Lol

1ontheroadagain : I have appointments at Methodist and will go shopping or out for brunch/lunch afterwards. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't "do lunch" in The Woodlands. There are times I don't even want to get out in the Kingwood traffic!

Google maps says it's 23 miles/38 minutes from Valley Ranch to The Woodlands.
Then, Kingwood to Valley Ranch is 10 miles/17 Minutes. It's 55 minutes total unless you have a helicopter.
How do you get from Kingwood to The Woodlands in 30 minutes? Is there a shortcut Google Maps doesn't know about??
