#msg5921612sweetie : I like the coffee, but it is So strong.
#msg5921169sweetie : I would like to try a cuban sammie too. As for coffee, I have 1 cup in the morning and that is it like you.
#msg5921315sweetie : Just followed you on IG! Good luck and I look forward to the opportunity to darken your doorstep!
I grew up having Cuban food on special occasions since my grandmother came from Cuba on the boat like many other legal immigrants during that time. It didn't take long from what I heard for her food to become Cajun/Creole/Cuban fusion. The black beans got switched out for kidney or red beans. Cuban pork sandwiches are amazing and not hard to make at home. Plantains are wonderful as a side. However over time it was replaced with more southern Louisiana cooking like gumbo, shrimp and rice etc. At that time I was not a coffee drinker so not sure if I have had a cup of Cuban coffee. I really like French/Vietnamese coffee, willing to give it a try.

#msg5921699cbear : lol . I have friends that drink coffee all day. There's just no way I could do that. It only tastes good to me in the morning once.
I followed the IG for the Cuban coffee shop. I thought you were the owner of the shop.
No worries.
I hope it is in Kingwood, I will love a good Cuban Sandwich or un Medianoche, pastelitos de Guayaba y Queso with cuban strong espresso will be a good pair LOL! My husband loves cuban espresso he drinks one every day (he is cuban) I prefer "cortadito" which is a traditional Cuban espresso drink consisting of a shot of strong, pre-sweetened café Cubano "cut" with a small amount of steamed milk.
I hope to see the signs for this coffee shop soon. Good Luck!
Years ago, before The Catch took over its current location in Atascocita, that space was a Cuban restaurant. It was so good and service was great. Was very sorry to see it go.
