Kingwood Painted Tree Permanently Closing

ZMAN :
Well I do bc I keep seeing it & I don't what this means. That's why I asked. But I agree w you on that place. Way over priced on stuff.

It's sad to see this but I'm sure it was multiple things. Boutique prices are high for the same things Home Goods probably has, thefts, high rent, it's a tough go for a seller.

I hate to see this happen, however I was in there a few times and I personally did not care for the store. Too bad Steinmart closed - I loved that store. Hopefully it gets rented out as it is a large space.

Cantaffordthis :
school teacher from Humble was shopping, tried on the astros jacket put it on top of her purse and walked out. Grizzy Hood posted the video on candid camera and she ws found. paid double the price but wanted video taken down. think she was going to be charged ..not sure

icare :
Damn I would have 🤦‍♀️😂 sold her mine

Cantaffordthis : she was posted for theft...do u know this lady....type thing

ZMAN :
I went to buy a onesie and some other newborn clothes for my first grandbaby, the onesie was $48.00, something she would have worn for about 3 weeks. I went across to Children's Place and bought a whole pack of 6 for more than half that price.

Don't forget we could use another pizza place or two!

parking lot is rather full of uhauls and trucks and cars to gather their merchandise

SpaceCat : Like many retailers that didn't survive the covid lockdown, Steinmart folded largely due to over-expansion and a heavy debt load. Palais Royale is another prime example.

Wish we could get a Kohl's or something like that. I definitely miss Steinmart and Palais Royale.

BrendaT : Did you say Chicago style pizza??

I bought a beautiful wooden cardinal there a few weeks ago. Glad I sent an email to the merchant so I luckily know how to make future purchases.
