I tried to take her out just as it was begging to sprinkle and there was thunder in the area and she did not want to pee..

I think she might be, right now she is sleeping and I am trying to be so quiet so she continues to sleep because I know the minute she wakes up she will need to go out and it is still pouring here....

We went out right before it got bad, but she did not want to do anything. I hope she continues to sleep a while until it passes or there is a lull and I can run her outside.

Weathergirl5 : Seems like it is letting up here in HR2 in terms of rain...still thunder. I wonder going forward while she is training if she would use puppy pads indoors to pee. Not ideal...not the message that you want to send encouraging indoor bathroom usage. Good luck friend.

Good! I am still waiting for a break, it has let up some, but it is still coming down too much for her to go out. I know she will not do anything and just be scared.

It's letting up here too, but still coming down and lots of thunder and lightning. I have heard from some trainers that using puppy pads slows down the potty training because it teaches them it is ok to go in the house (even on the pad). I just wish she did not have this UTI on top of trying to potty train.

Saw pictures from the Houston rodeo, what a mess for people there last night with all the rain.
