I've been told I can not use Uber or Lyft, etc. for any medical procedures that require anesthesia. They make me ruin some nice friend's day dropping me off & picking me up. I hate it!

Ooooo. Gotcha. I'm having pretty serious oral surgery Wednesday. Not only does my friend have to take me; she has to stay in the waiting room until they wheel me out after. I was going to treat her to lunch! There are so many cool places around the facility.

That is correct because they wouldn't let me use it last time I had a colonoscopy and was by myself. But I think if you have someone else with you, who's not under the effects of anesthesia you can.
