FeralHermit : Oh my goodness!!! Prayer going up for this man. What an awful thing to know it was your child who shot you. I am so glad the police have him in custody. I just can not understand how kids can do this to their parents. This kind of stuff happens far to often!!!

FeralHermit : This is what? Six shootings now? Twenty five+ years not one, now six in as many years. Comes with population explosion they say. Well I still say not the kingwood of old and that population explosion with all it's over crowding is nothing to be desired.
Ruger5 : Kingwood is not what it once was. It is getting more and more crowded but I think it's a lack of mental health care that also adds to the equation. Parents no longer let their kids step out the door without their eyes on their child's head. Kids need to exercise, play on their own, and have a little independence. It is healthy for them!
FeralHermit : Shooting a parent is beyond horrible and nothing makes it right. There is likely a back story that will surface. Praying for the family.
We have more guns than people in this country. It's pretty easy for a fistfight to escalate into shots fired.
