Well I never thought I would say anything positive about HCA Kingwood, but it beats either one of the hospitals in Beaumont...

Methodist in the Woodlands has exceptional service as does St. Lukes

I have actually hired private ambulances to take my wife Methodist - The Woodlands.

Absolutely. But if I am out of network come April I need alternative in case I end up back I there.

EMS will only transport to Kingwood HCA. My mother had a fall and requested to be brought to Memorial Herman. They said they could not because City of Houston has a contract with Kingwood HCA because they are designated as a trauma hospital. Her ER experience was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! My mom had a stroke a few months ago and I took her to the Memorial Hermann ER near HEB. They took her to The Woodlands because of their advanced neurological department. It was an amazing hospital!!

We have had so many bad experiences with HCA in Kingwood. They cause more stress than anyone needs. The last visit resulted in our insurance denying all charges due to them not doing an MRI in the timeframe required because no one putting in the order. We had to deal with protesting the $98 thousand charges. Just more stress added on top of our visit. Now we only want to go to St Luke's in the Woodlands if necessary. They provide excellent care.

Yeah, Kingwood hospital has been known to kill ppl by accident. Our local NO GO ZONE

Could you share some of what happened? I have always received great treatment.

They didn't see that I had a ruptured ovarian cyst. My PCP that has now passed away received the radiology report and let me know. I miss Dr. Sassin.
