It is not just Kingwood but tow companies are getting real aggressive and crooked all around Houston and greater Houston area. Tow truck drivers are not allowed to get aggressive and cannot disturb the peace.

Texvette : Unless the rules are made with no regard to logic and are absurdly and unnecessarily complicated to comply with. Why do I need to show the vehicle registration receipt when this document carries no legal significance or bearing to get a K sticker? What happens when people throw this meaningless paper out, as so many do? Does that mean they can no longer access the park they pay so dearly for? Why is that? Why in this digitally connected day and age must one go into the office of KSA personally to get something as simple as a sticker, only to be treated like a serf once they get there? There are more obvious questions about this absurd and internationally complicated process of getting something as simple as a sticker with a green "K" on it, but these are a good start.

teatime : I couldn't agree with you more. KSA and it's owner/director do nothing to upgrade their processes and their treatment of the people they are supposed to be serving (us) because she/they essentially answer to no one. They simply don't need to, so they don't.
The people who waste their time milling about on Kingwood Drive in front of Specs protesting their silly "No Kings" day would certainly accomplish more protesting this KSA owner with a "No Queens" day.

I know but has gotten worse in my observation the last five years.

Towing has been happening for a while, kids have been smoking and/or drinking on the green belts and some people are just outright rude, sad to say. I had my vehicle towed once, I knew better so now I have a sticker! Most people --and I will say the majority of people in Kingwood are great. But, you have to watch things wherever one chooses to live. Kingwood is no different.

They are a pain in the *** to get. You have to have registration, insurance, and DL, and all sorts of silly information. They should be mailed to everyone who pays for their HOA automatically. Sounds like a KSA employee has a buddy/family in the towing business to me.
