Rosiedoodle5545: I'm partial to Little Ginger for Sushi/Japanese, Loco Cantina for Mexican, Three B's for basic American/Bar food, Chimichurri's for finer dining South American, V'n Wich for Vietnamese, Taste of Greek for super fast casual Greek, Jets Pizza(the 4 or 8 corner pizza FTW) or RC's for pizza. Kingwood Taco Shop has great breakfast tacos. The New Mexican spot, Hacienda Los Arcos, was pretty dang good! Just had it for the first time last week. I'd avoid Raffa's(despite the reviews here… sorry, y'all), Sharky's, Di Maria's. Brass Tap is great for drinks but the food is meh at best. Parry's has pretty decent food and a full bar. Hope you find something good.

@SorryInAdvance : Thank you for this post -so thought out. You touched all the bases. Love Jets.

I can not believe that is still open since you never hear anyone mention going there. I remember taking the kids for pictures there.

Lol! Wow, you are pretty important to score an invitation to the trail bistro. It's very highly exclusive-and for years on end! You must be a very special person.

What's the best restaurant in the Kingwood area? We eat all cuisine. We have family coming into town and trying to plan a few meals out. Chachi's is our local favorite.

@Rosiedoodle5545 : Chimichurri has the best lunch. A great view of the water too

Our "out of town" family always wants Chachi's, Three B's or Sharky's when they come to visit. K Bagel for breakfast.

@kingwooddiscgolf : I have never been. I keep forgetting that it is there. Isn't it a bit upscale?

@Rosiedoodle5545 : If y'all enjoy outdoor dining, 3B's on the green has a lovely patio with an amazing view. Also Raffa's and Sharky's offer outdoor dining. Good luck and enjoy your company!

@Rosiedoodle5545 :
It looks like you got a lot of really great suggestions, and I hope they enjoy wherever you choose to bring them. I did want to mention that if you are going to get them some BBQ, you really should take them to FireCraft. We had friends in town from Oregon recently and we bought them some firecraft bbq, and weeks later they are still raving about it.
