Fifth body found in Buffalo Bayou Wth is going on? Maybe I've watched too many Dateline specials but....does Houston have a serial killer among us? 🤔 Houston Police have recovered a body from Buffalo Bayou near Hirsch & Clinton - the fifth body found in a bayou in just 7 days. A kayaker spotted the body Saturday morning (Sept 20) and alerted authorities. The identity remains unknown, and the investigation is ongoing. This comes days after the tragic discovery of Jade "Sage" McKissic, a 20-year-old UH student who was reported missing on Sept. 11 and later found dead in Brays Bayou. Her cause of death is still under investigation.
StormChaser : I wouldn't leap straight to serial killers. The bayou...well, they've long been a convenient resting place for the inconvenient. The mob, for instance, had quite the fondness for Florida's swamps. Easy access, and nature's cleanup crew works for free.
I'd be more convinced of serial activity of there was more of a connecting pattern other than racking up cadavers.
