SteveT : I have long had the utmost respect and appreciation for all of the volunteers at Texas Equusearch. I thank 
FloydRTurbo and his colleagues for the very difficult search that they have volunteered to do. I join everyone here in praying for their safety, and for their mental and physical stamina, as they do all they can to bring closure to the grieving families and friends.
BrendaT : Praying for the young man who has lost his lunch buddy. This kind of loss is traumatic for all of us but especially for one so young. Asking God to give him all of the strength he will need to get through.
Ruger5 : We are fortunate to know him and call him friend. THIS is what giving is all about, humbly and quietly showing up to do the tough jobs, giving of time and attention, not grand announcements and hoopla.

FloydRTurbo will need prayers I checked with FloydRTurbo earlier and he said that I could put something out to the KDC family. He has been doing missing persons searches for a while now, with a group Texas Equusearch, link is below. Some of you may be familiar with this group and they are a volunteer group that searches for missing persons, who are called in. He has told me stories of joy in finding the person they were searching for and others where it was not such a happy ending. It took a while to get them mobilized, possibly to get lodging and logistics in place to receive the volunteers. He will be leaving in a couple or hours at 3am to be in Kerrville. He will be part of the ATV team and they will be assembling at 8am in the Kerrville area. This could still be a rescue situation and not just a recover situation. Please pray that some people are found alive and that others who may have been less fortunate are also found so closure can be brought to the families involved. Please keep FloydRTurbo in your prayers, as well as others members of the teams going out. It takes special people to go out and do this, and please pray that they can be at peace, with the things they will encounter and be exposed to while they are there. texasequusearch.org/

FloydRTurbo. Of all the people on KDC and in the Kingwood Classic Cruisers he is at the top of the list as one of my friends. Always the first in line to help. After Beryl he and his grandsons helped me out spending a day helping clean up my yard without even having to ask for help. He has helped many here in Kingwood and spends a lot of time working with EquuSearch. No better human in Kingwood then him in my book. To be honest even if he didn't do any of this good work....... I'd still love this guy.
