So my machine just turns off - and I stop breathing. 🤦♀️ Fun stuff. My husband has programmed himself to wake up and wake me up. StormChaser : You should look into battery backups. We have them (for Tachus) and you do not have to wait for gen to kick on.

LittleTexas : When I bought my home generator I never dreamed it would be used as much as it is. I would not recommend moving here to anyone unless they want to purchase a generator.
Donnawisdom: I think a home generator used to be almost a thing of luxury , but now, it's a necessity; you're so right !!
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : When we moved here in 1990, there weren't many power outages in KW. CP clearly hasn't kept up with the growth nor maintained the infrastructure here.
I would not recommend moving here to anyone unless they want to purchase a generator.
Donnawisdom : I agree. As my DW and I got older, those power outages were harder on us. Our generator has been a great safety blanket. « Back to Chat
