It is strange. Where I grew up it was an older neighbor, covered with trees and in winter the lines would be covered with ice, strong winds would go through and still had power. But here if you sneeze the power is out. I don't get it
I'm pretty new here, and am so grateful we bought a house with a generator. I can't believe how often the power goes out here. I had no idea how important that generator would turn out to be! My prior home, it was years between power outages so it wasn't even on my radar.
It's funny but not. Same here in Sand Creek. Went out at 9:30. No storm or winds now so had to be the sun or maybe the squirrels.

Well at least you have a generator. I'm hoping it comes back soon. I really don't want to toss the fridge contents.

I had email at 1245 saying power will be on by 3, then an email at 5 saying 545, then one saying 'idk good luck'
