HPD - - Hard at work and even harder at milking our tax dollars. Meanwhile cars are being broken into in Kingwood at an alarming rate (excuse the pun). Where is "Slys Guy" Dave Martin when we need him…ohh wait - he is part of the reason we are in this mess.
eighteen : What if they got off their shift and said "let's go help that lady get her trampoline put up for her kids". These guys risk their lives for $40k a year. Every day they put on that uniform could be their last. Would you do that? I think they've earn the benefit of the doubt. When I was in the Army we would stop and help people out while in uniform, because we were in uniform and wanted to model good behavior to the younger troops.

If you can afford a trampoline, you can afford someone to put it together, jus sayin". This goes back to my bit.. about buying a rich lady coffee when some children and animals do not have food.
I have said this before on this site. I could have easily joined the police straight out of the military. They recruited heavily at Ft. Bragg. I just couldn't see risking my life when the rules of engagement were not clear. At least in the Army we had clear cut rules that governed actions. Considering the lack of support the police get from the politicians in this country, its amazing anyone volunteers to serve. And to all of you who don't understand - it is service. Its not just a job. They need our support - not petty bickering about doing kindnesses.
That would be just theives "opening" the car doors then. When windows are being "broken" out that would mean cars are being broken into - - - get it? Great!
Would say no as that would be silly - much like your post.
