I'm hearing thunder now also. Glad the tornado warning was dropped. Don't need the hail or high winds either.

We were stepping out to the garage. Hand on the knob to open the door and hit the button. Our phones made us jump as they were on our body and we were mashed out the door.
Just called old navy to see if they were open and yes, they are but they said it was bad bad bad. The shopping center shut down and all employees hunkered in the back.
I am so glad I wasn't on the freeway or as I sometimes do, running the feeder road when it hit.
It was freaky, our sky was overcast and calm. Trees weren't moving, the Robin's were pecking the grass, squirrels were doing squirrely things that squirrels do. All of a sudden it got dark, then the sun shone bright and wind reeled up bouncing the live trees. All while the neighbor's dead tree stood menacing ready to hit our house if it fell. It's been breaking on clear breezy days.
Oh well, I'm off to forage and graze.

Time to evacuate kingwood. It's raining!!! Please everyone, take kingwood dr out.
