Empathy?

Thank you for saying that. You are right. That's pretty much what I have to tell myself. I have made a lot of progress.

People think empathy is a weakness because overly empathetic people tend to act with their hearts and not with their heads. They make decisions that benefit themselves so they will feel all warm and cozy.
You can be empathetic and still be strong enough to act with common sense, logic and according to the law.

You definitely should think with both. Understanding where someone is coming from and why while still being able to stand by your own beliefs is important.

But we're not talking about beliefs. We're talking about emotion. I can have an emotion and not let it get in the way of doing what is right by the law. I do understand and I do have empathy but emotions have no part in my decision of whether or not to obey the law.

I don't think empathy is strictly an emotion, it is understanding. I can't help someone do the wrong thing, but I can understand where they are coming from and try to offer solutions.

Not sure what you just said in totality but hes not my God. He is a genius innovator and his inventions are changing the world.

He is a ruthless identifier of emerging technologies to invest in very early. He, in great part because he attended Stanford which is at the heart of Silicon Valley innovation met a lot of ruthless STEM geeks. I doubt he cares a whit about good or evil. There is genius,in that, I guess.
I think many idolize him because they too measure value in everything based on money. He has the most money therefore he is the best. That is a misguided, IMO, understanding of some stuff I have heard in discussions about who, how andwhy God favors some and others not
His mentor speaks of the anti-Christ. I think he speaks of the most revered, if measured by money, person on the globe. I like the attached picture of Mephisto. I think you and may others fawn at his progeny.
